GERRY EDWARDS
ACIArb and Costs Lawyer
Gerry has been in practice since 1985 and in 1986 founded Masters Legal Costs Services in London and remained as Senior Partner until 2012 when he sold his shares and after a 2 year sabbatical, he joined J. Murphy Cost Lawyers and is now Senior Director.
Gerry also served on the Counsel of the Association of Costs Draftsmen (now the Association of Costs Lawyers) for many years and was also its Honourable Secretary.
Gerry was retained on Trafigura, dealing with opposing the Claimants Costs, Auditing the clients own costs incurred throughout the U.K and Europe and was the Costs expert in the associated Norwegian Arbitration, he has also worked in Hong Kong, reviewing the costs in a major construction Mediation for the Lloyds Market.
Gerry specialises in the preparation or opposition of high value Bills of Costs, predominately for City based clients including Third Party Funders.

Costs Consultant
Robert is a Senior Law Costs Draftsman and Consultant with over 30 years experience in all aspects of legal costs having worked for various Law Firms on the South Coast and in Central London, together with a city based firm of Costs Lawyers and on his own account. Valued for his sound and pragmatic approach, Robert is regularly engaged in the preparation of Bills of Costs in all forms of litigation including high value complex clinical negligence actions, personal injury, commercial, Legal Aid and Solicitors Act matters. In addition, Robert has extensive experience in the preparation of Points of Dispute at all levels and provides regular consultancy services to various Insurance Companies regarding claims for costs and is an experienced advocate in both supporting and opposing Bills in the County Court and the SCCO.
